Bonnie & Clyde’s Q&A
Bonnie & Clyde’s is new to Promenade and the neighborhood, and we’re excited to welcome them! We wanted to give y’all a sneak peek on what you can expect about Bonnie & Clyde’s and the fact that they will be open later and will have a rooftop (for warm summer nights) which is an absolute game changer for our center. We sat down with co-owner, Susan to chat about this new endeavor.
What was the inspiration behind wanting to open up Bonnie & Clyde’s at Promenade?
We felt that South Charlotte was in need for an upscale restaurant that stayed open late. We feel like everyone has to go to Uptown and we wanted to have a place here in South Charlotte.
Sun – Thurs: 4pm – midnight
Fri – Sat: 4pm – 2am
How long have you been in the restaurant industry, what were you doing before?
My whole life. I’ve spent the past 25 years in the industry and my husband has been in the industry for the past 35 years.
What type of fare can people expect to find at Bonnie & Clyde’s?
Small plate fusion. It will be a variety of different cuisines like American, Asian, Italian, Indian and Spain. We’re excited to bring a plethora of options to our diners.
What sets you apart from other restaurants/lounges in the area?
Our ambiance, we’ll have live music, and our lighting. Bonnie & Clyde’s will be a more chic lounge that’s upscale.
What kind of outings or parties can people book at your establishment?
Rooftops can be booked for parties (only from March – September) – for fully private events. We will have semi-private rooms inside that you can book for events.
What are you most excited about being at Promenade?
We’re excited to give the neighborhood a place to have a fun at and enjoy great food.
