Rockler Woodworking and Hardware was started in 1954 by Norton Rockler, and has remained a family-owned business throughout our history. Rockler believes that woodworking can be for anyone, and is excited to host Future Woodworker Week, focusing on the next generation of woodworkers, taking the first steps to be able to create with confidence. April 10-15 Rockler Charlotte will have a variety of kid’s workshops, with projects ranging from treasure chests and epoxy sun catchers, to wooden totes, pencil holders, and birdhouses.
With components pre-cut for safety, all projects will be completed during the two hour sessions, with most of them ready to take home at the end of the class. (Our epoxy sun catcher will require a return trip to the store to pick your project after the epoxy has cured.) These projects are designed for ages 9-14, and kids must be accompanied by an adult.
