You’re Somebody’s Type: Blood + Platelet Drive

We are hosting our 2nd annual blood and platelet drive in partnership with J. Leigh Events on March 24^th from 10AM–3PM. Jennifer’s child, Henry, was born with Neonatal Alloimmune Thrombocytopenia (NAIT) and received platelet transfusions while in NICU which saved his life. Neonatal Alloimmune Thrombocytopenia is a blood-related disease affecting newborns and mothers. When a mother’s and baby’s blood platelets do not match, it can cause life-threatening issues, including bleeding in the baby’s brain.
