Improvements Coming to Promenade in Summer 2020
Our Town Square is getting a brand-new look! Renovations to this area of Promenade on Providence are underway with completion set for summer 2020. The improved space will include additional parking spaces; bench seating; a large, shady structure; and colorful and inviting lounge chairs and bistro tables.
The goal of these improvements is not only to add more parking, but also to create an inviting, family-friendly zone for the shopping center. The additional parking lot will include approximately 50 spaces for more convenient shopping and dining, as well as a decorative design. Two permanent structure kiosks will also be added to either side of the fountain as part of these renovations. One kiosk will be able to accommodate a short- or long-term tenant, while the second, smaller kiosk will be used for temporary needs, like pop-up stores.
We currently don’t anticipate any road closures during these renovations. Yet if any should be necessary, we’ll provide notice for our customers. During the construction phase, there will be ample signage around the community to direct and reroute patrons along the fastest routes to their favorite stores and restaurants.
New Neighborhood Hangouts!
A 12,000-square-foot building will be taking the place of the old Romano’s Macaroni Grill, which already has been demolished. Construction is scheduled to be complete by the end of the third quarter of 2019. We’re excited to announce Buffalo Wild Wings has leased 6,000 square feet of this dynamic space!
Buffalo Wild Wings is the nation’s largest sports bar brand, founded in 1982 by two men who had recently moved from Buffalo, New York, to Columbus, Ohio, and couldn’t find a place to cater to their chicken wing cravings. It’s a favorite among sports fans who love enjoying a cold brew and authentic Buffalo wings in 21 signature sauces and seasonings while watching the big game. The restaurant is set to open by the first quarter of 2020. Stay tuned for more information on the tenants leasing the building’s remaining square footage.
